Possibly head gasket repair

I don't recall removing the valve covers to do the LIM gaskets. Unless your VC are leaking and you want to replace them, I don't think you have to pull the valve covers.

I think Greg meant maybe the TB gasket is leaking.. causing the coolant to mix with your air/fuel.
are you puffin white smoke even when the car's warm?

I have noticed there to be a decent amount of white smoke. I did not order a TB gasket, I am running gen3 SC with N* TB. Didnt even think of that. Will just tap and block LIM coolant holes.

when I thought my lim gaskets took a dump Ibought the alum gaskets , sc gasket , tb gasket , rtv ,teflon pipe thread sealant etc... pulled off the sc/tb and then noticed coolant on the rotors....

wrong direction for lim gasket leak lol but I allready had the thing half apart so I did the LIM job , it had blown a tb gasket even though I had borrowed an inch pound torque wrench and torqued the tb down to spec , in my case i blame my stupidity in buying a zzp tb spacer as many people end up blowing tb gaskets after installing one my point is a tb gasket wil raise havoc , smoke white etc... maybe pull the tb and shine a light in on the rotors to see if they have coolant on them ???

yes I did not re-install it , just saying a leak at the tb gasket is worth looking at

Sam came over yesterday and we got the lim gaskets done. The top his motor was filthy lol. he did have the plastic gaskets and they failed again. we replaced them with the metal ones, there wasnt much coolant getting into the motor, most of it was just puddling in the back of the lim. I also plugged the coolant holes in the lim and opened up the passage to the rear head. Hes back up and running now and the top is nice and clean now. :D

Thank you Brian for helping me out with the LIM gaskets. Yes the engine bay was filthy, but its the filth that keeps it from leaking shit all over. As of this morning everything still running fine and I bet she is still clean under the hood.
