I was making a del. today to porter and chester, A indt. there told me about a new machine shop that built a 3800 for a grand nath. regal,I Was told togothere, he saidi wont beleive it,1800 h power,dont have any info on the build as of yet,what do you guys think?

Yes that's possible but it's a different 3800 that doesn't work with our cars

80's GN and Regal used the old RWD standard 3.8, not the new series FWD metric 3800. Different everything, same idea.

It's easy to make a ton of power w 3800 but hard to get it to the ground. You will spend a fortune in transmissions and axles etc when you make a fast FWD. RWD is much more durable - straight back with a straight durable transmission and basic rear axle is very easy to put power through reliably. FWD not so much.

I have never seen an 1800 HP GM but I know 12 is possible.. :!:
