hi guys ,
just signed in,

im building a 03 GS with an XP cam, S2IC,headers,P/P gen3,NT,TEP trans,GMR and the locker full of the supp mods ...

took 2 years preparing the build and sourcing the right parts ...(2 black friday too) of course !

im building my 40th birthday gift , from me to me

would like to build a 12 sec car that will be a good street sleeper on a regular basis

was looking a a couple profile here and saw a lot of you guys running in the 12s , your infos and advice will be gladly appreciated guys

grew up under a hood almost...im a mechanic by trade, had my own shop for 12 years
in the aeronautic buisness now in electric for bombardier Global buisness -jet Division

probably know a couple of you here , from other forums ...
in the w-body platform , it s a small world anyway :wink:

Hi Fred...

Is a Gen V out of the question? It would make the intake charge a bit cooler than the P&P Gen 3. Give us an idea of what is in the locker of supporting parts.

gen3 ;it's the old "Wild" set up
with a PRJ full IC, that I just got this spring ( nice craftsmanship ) by the way
eng set up will be ;
-ported heads w/back cut intake valve
-R/R 1.6
-XP cam
-105 springs with modded rockers
-stock L67 base (60 000 miles)
-N/tb
-jmb int
-103s,180 stat,fuel pump rewire,
-42s inj, zzp fuel logs

exhaust;
-copy slp ss
-3inch DP with fitted stock cat
-dual magnaflow

drivetrain;
-Tep trans w/ 7/8 chain et 3.29
- GMR diff (can't wait to try difference)
-zzp race control arms
-aluminum cradle

all the suspension mods and 12 inch fr & rear...

ordered a zzp PCM for all the engine mods just to get it started
and will get it tune after project is rolling

I'm aiming to get the car out next spring
can't wait

fwiw the headers will come with a DP and you just add the cat and the double walled flex from zzp. ive also heard of alot of trouble from the ZZP pcm even to start out with.

already made my dp from the 3 inch and modded the oem cat to become 3 inch (removed the inside tube)
welded flange at both end and it's an oem 3inch DP for headers lol

I'll post a pic of the custom job later

as for the PCM , ordered it last black Friday at sane time as some friends here who their car are running great with no issues ,but to be sure when I got my trans build by Tep , I sended him the PCM ,
he wanted to make sure gearing change were made and check it for the rest too

2002GS 1/4 mi 13.165 108.09 trap ,1/8 mi 8.562 , 84.87 trap on spray , 13.5 @104 without

GTP ON SPRAY 12.209 @117.75 1/8 MI 7.73 @94
